‘Cosmo is an operational disaster’ is definitely the narrative that’s emerging since the December opening.

My first stay was a wreck, my second was a lot better but not flawless. I’m still hearing horror stories.

Why do you suppose that is? I’ve no firsthand experience with the rooms, but boy, it seems they got a lot of things right.

      • Hunter says:

Significant service failures since the opening: long (multi-hour) waits to get into rooms at check-in, being checked into other people’s rooms, housekeeping totally MIA, phones and televisions not working. That sort of stuff.

Instead of signs of improvement, which you would perhaps expect as time went on, I still get reports of these problems frequently.

Cobbling together what I’ve seen and what I’ve been told, it sounds like a combination of poorly implemented technology (check in and hotel management) and hotel managers that were slow to react. The hotel did replace some key execs recently so hopefully things will improve.
