Cocktail of the Week:

Skinny Margarita

2 ounces (1/4 cup) silver tequila
1 1/2 ounces (3 tablespoons/about 1 1/2 small limes) fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon light agave nectar
1 lime wedge or round, for garnish

Add ice cubes to your glass and set it aside. Fill a small cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the tequila, freshly squeezed lime and agave nectar. Put on the lid and shake for 30 seconds. Strain the liquid into your glass and garnish with a slice of lime.

Superfruit Mojito

2 ounces of TY KU Premium Liqueur
10 Fresh mint leaves
2 slices of cucumber
Splash of diet citrus soda
1 squeeze of lime

Combine 2oz TY KU Liqueur, 1oz Diet Lemon Lime Soda, 10 mint leaves, and a squeeze of lime. Break three cucumber slices to release their flavor. Shake vigorously with ice. Serve in a tall glass. Garnish with mint leaves and enjoy!

Fog Cutter
1½ ounce light rum
½ gin
½ brandy
1 ounce orange juice
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1½ teaspoon orgeat syrup
1 teaspoon sweet sherry
Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into an iced-filled tall Tiki mug or Collins glass. Top with a teaspoon of sweet sherry and feel foxy!.

Flambeau
2 oz of captain morgan’s spiced rum
1 oz of grand marnier (or other orange liqueur)
1 oz of chambord raspberry liqueur

Pour over ice, shake and strain then place in martini glass and garnish with a twist of lemon and lime. a touch of grand marnier is placed at the end to allow the drink to be lighted and then immediately served.

1 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Galliano
4 oz Orange juice

Blend ingredients and serve over ice.

Tequila Sunrise
4 oz Orange juice
2 oz. Tequila
½ oz. Grenadine
Orange slice and maraschino cherry for garnish

Pour the tequila and OJ into a highball glass with ice. Stur. Slowly pour grenadine around the inside edge of the glass. It will sink and slowly rise create the sunrise.

The Caution Flag
2 oz white rum
1 oz sweet and sour mix
Fill with Sprite

In a chilled margarita glass add ingredients and enjoy!

Barcardi Cocktail
1 3/4 oz Barcardi light rum
3/4 oz lemon or lime juice
1/4 oz grenadine

Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake Well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

1 green olive

Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice cubes. Stir for gin, shake for vodka, for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass then garnish with the olive or lemon twist and enjoy!

Senor Pooh Bear
Agave nectar, fresh lime, davalos tequila, barenjager honey liqueur, honey powder, smoked sea salt.

Margarita
1 1/2 oz tequila
1/2 oz premium triple sec
1 oz lime juice

Pour the vodka, lemon juice and triple sec into a shaker with ice, shake well, strain, and serve. If you want salt on the rim of your glass run a lime around the rim of the glass and dip in salt.

Lemon Drop
1 1/2 oz vodka
3/4 oz lemon juice
1/4 Cointreau
1/2 tsp simple sugar
lemon twist for garnish

Pour the vodka, lemon juice and sugar syrup into a shaker with ice cubes,shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass,garnish with the lemon twist.

Bloody Mary
3 oz tomato juice
1 1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz lemon juice
1 dash of Worcestershine sauce
celery salt
ground pepper
hot pepper sauce to taste
celery stalk and/or pickle spear for garnish
lemon and/or lime wedge for garnish

Build the liquid ingredients in a highball glass over ice. Mix well. Add the seasonings to taste. Garnish.

1 oz lime juice

1 dash of Worcestershine sauce
celery salt

hot pepper sauce to taste
celery stalk and/or pickle spear for garnish
lemon and/or lime wedge for garnish

Build the liquid ingredients in a highball glass over ice. Mix well. Add the seasonings to taste. Garnish.

In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine gin, simple syrup and lemon juice. Shake well. Pour into a Collins glass or Flute. Top with the champagne. Stir well and garnish w/ the orange slice and cherry.

1 1/2 tsp powered sugar
2 oz club soda
1/2 oz cherry brandy
1 oz gin

Pour in the gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup, and powered sugar into a shaker with ice cubes. Shake well and strain into a highball glass with ice cubes. Pour in the club soda, and float the cherry brandy on top by pouring it over the back of a bar spoon. Garnish with a lemon slice and cherry, stir and enjoy!

1 oz light rum
1/2 oz orgeat
1/2 oz triple sec
sweet and sour mix
pineapple juice
1/2 oz dark rum

Pour light rum, orgeat, and triple sec, in order, into a collins glass. Almost fill with equal parts of sweet and sour mix and pineapple juice. Add dark rum, a large straw and serve unstirred.

Cocktail of the Week:

Bikini Cocktail
1 oz light rum
1 twist lemon peel
2 oz vodka
1/2 oz milk
1 tsp sugar
Juice of 1/2 lemons

Shake rum, vodka, milk, sugar, and juice of lemon with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Decorate with a twist of lemon and serve.

Cocktail of the Week:

Whiskey Hot Toddy
1.5 oz bourbon whiskey
1/4 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz sugar syrup or honey
1 slice lemon
2 cloves
4 oz hot water

Pour a shot of whiskey into a cup and add boiling water to it. Add a spoonful of honey or sugar. Add a half slice of lemon, two cloves and, if available, a cinnamon stick. Let brew for three to five minutes.
Depending on preference, the cloves and cinnamon stick can be removed before drinking, although leaving them in is often said to make a toddy even better for clearing a blocked nose and relieving a head cold.

Burlesque Daiquiri
1.5 oz white rum
1 oz fresh lime juice
.5 oz grenadine syrup
1 tsp of sugar

Add rum, sugar and lime juice into a shaker. Stir with a spoon until the sugar has competely incorporated. Add the grenadine and then top with ice. Secure shaker lid and shake for 30 seconds.

Hurricane
1 oz white run
1 oz Jamaican dark rum
1 oz Barcardi 151 rum
3 oz orange juice
3 oz unsweetened pineapple juice
1/2 oz grenadine syrup
crushed ice

Combine all ingredients, mix well (shake or stir). Pour over crushed ice in hurricane glass. Best enjoyed through a small straw. Garnish with fruit wedge if desired.

We had “chocolate cake”, too!

Cocktail of the Week:

Sazerac
1 1/2 cups of ice
1 cube or 1/2 teaspoon sugar
4 dashes Bitters
2 oz rye whiskey
1/2 teaspoon absinthe
1 thin strip lemon peel

Fill old-fashioned glass w/ 1 cup ice and set aside. In 2nd old-fashioned glass, stir together sugar, bitters, and 1/2 teaspoon water until sugar is completely dissolved. Add rye whiskey and remaining 1/2 cup ice, and stir well. From first glass, discard ice, then add absinthe. Holding glass horizontally, roll it between your thumbs and forefingers so absinthe completely coats the interior., the discard excess. Strain rye whiskey mixture into chilled, absinthe-coated glass. Squeeze lemon peel over drink, making sure oils fall into glass. Drop peel into drink and serve. (Whew!)

You know what I did this morning? Cried in my shorts drawer.

The Devils Margarita
6 oz can frozen limeade concentrate
6 oz tequila
6 oz Coors beer
(666, get it?)
Lime for garnish

Add all ingredients into blender. (You can use the frozen limeade can as a measuring cup!) Fill blender with ice and blend until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses and garnish. Make another batch. . .these are awesome!

I love Vegas like a fat kid loves cake.

3/4 oz Scotch Whiskey
3/4 oz Sweet Vermouth
1/4 oz Cherry Brandy
1 1/2 oz Orange Juice
Flamed orange zest for garnish

Pour ingredients into an ice-filled cocktail shaker and shake till cold to the touch. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Get out your trusty lighter and flame the orange zest in an acid-fire flourish. Add garnish. Consume.
