Talktails is Back!

We at the Vegas Video Network have always loved Talktails. When Chris Phillips’ schedule made it difficult to continue the show, we decided to place the program on hiatus. During that down time, we began our search for new hosts. . .yes, as in more than one.

Being the host of Talktails is not an easy gig. It requires a great sense of humor, a connection with the Las Vegas entertainment community, and an ability to shine a light on your guests without the need to draw attention to yourself (think Johnny Carson vs. Jay Leno). Additionally, as we’ve done with all VVN shows, we’ve adopted a new format that requires precise time management as well. . .which as many here will tell you, is harder than it looks.

For our first host announcement, I am proud to reveal that Talktails will make its triumphant return this MONDAY (5/21) at 6:30p with new host Kelly Clinton. Kelly was great as a guest on Talktails. And if our rehearsals are any indication, she is going to be an amazing host. Along with Kelly, we’ve added a completely new element — the Talktails Orchestra*. That’s right, LIVE MUSIC throughout the show.

Kelly will be hosting Talktails every other week, beginning on this Monday.

* The Talktails Orchestra is conducted by Kenny Davidsen, who KILLS it at Don’t Tell Mama.
