Pub Crawl #061: The Cicerone – Your New Best Friend

One of the best parts about Dave and Alicia’s adventures is the discovery of new things — things to avoid, things to share with your friends, and things that are actually people who make life better. . .like a cicerone. Show notes:

Cocktail of the Week:

Bloody Mary
3 oz tomato juice
1 1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz lemon juice
1 dash of Worcestershine sauce
celery salt
ground pepper
hot pepper sauce to taste
celery stalk and/or pickle spear for garnish
lemon and/or lime wedge for garnish

Build the liquid ingredients in a highball glass over ice. Mix well. Add the seasonings to taste. Garnish.

We may leave stuff out, but we don’t make stuff up!

The Boulevardier
1 1/2 oz bourbon
1 oz sweet vermouth
1 oz Campari
1 Orange twist

In a mixing glass combine all ingredients, add ice, stir vigorously for 30 seconds, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Serve with an orange twist and enjoy!
