Quick scheduling announcement; this week’s Living in Las Vegas will not be broadcasting live at its regularly scheduled time of Tuesday at 6PM (PDT). This week, we’ll be offering a surprising look at an interesting dinner-and-a-show combo on MONDAY (4/16) at 7PM (PDT).

We’ve received some feedback from folks living in Las Vegas (and other Pacific time zone locations) that it’s hard to watch the live broadcasts of Talktails and Top of the Food Chain because of the time the shows go live (4PM). Because the broadcast of each show occurs during the typical workday, many viewers are unable to watch.
To solve that problem, we’ve pushed back both shows to 5PM Pacific time on their respective days. That means that Talktails will begin its live broadcast at 5PM on Mondays. Top of the Food Chain will be live at 5PM on Thursday.

Two quick scheduling announcements –
Pub Crawl is moving from Wednesday at 8:00PM to Monday at 8:00PM, starting this Monday, 5/30/11. Now you can get your Vegas-y, drink-y goodness on at the beginning of the week.
Awkward Silence is taking a few weeks off and will be back on the schedule beginning June 23rd as soon as possible, at the same 6:00PM time slot.

LAS VEGAS, April 27, 2011 — The VEGAS VIDEO NETWORK®, the first and only live online broadcasting network in Las Vegas, today announced the addition of “Talktails with Chris Phillips” to its network of live programming. The show will be hosted by Las Vegas-favorite Zowie Bowie’s Chris Phillips live every MONDAY at 4:00PM Pacific.
“Like many people, I have always been fascinated with the behind-the-scenes aspect of the entertainment world in Las Vegas,” said Scott Whitney, founder of the VEGAS VIDEO NETWORK, “Chris’ impressive success as a performer in Las Vegas along with his ability to get folks to really open up about the entertainment world is a great addition to the network.”
Chris Phillips is better known as Zowie Bowie to tens-of-thousands of Las Vegas locals and visitors alike. Since his arrival in Las Vegas five years ago, Chris (as Zowie Bowie) has proven a guy with a microphone in one hand and a Crown Royal on-the-rocks in another can draw standing room-only crowds in casinos on and off the world famous Las Vegas Strip.
As with all VEGAS VIDEO NETWORK programming, “Talktails” will broadcast live and feature live chat questions from an online audience. The show will also be available as video-on-demand on the network’s website (http://VegasVideoNetwork.com) and through a variety of syndication partners.
With a peek at the story behind the story, guests will include those with close ties to the Las Vegas entertainment world. From headliners to producers, up-and-coming performers to long-time residents who remember the real Rat Pack, each episode will deliver a unique behind-the-scenes look at the city seldom seen elsewhere. And instead of the two-minute interview seen on typical broadcast television, “Talktails” will allow our viewers to get the full picture on how things work in the Las Vegas entertainment business.
“Hosting my own talk show has been a long-time dream of mine,” said Chris Phillips. “Getting the chance to sit down with people who are the backbone of the entertainment world here in Vegas is going to make for a great show.”
The show’s first guest will be Las Vegas Strip headliner, hypnotist Anthony Cools (“The Anthony Cools Experience” at Paris Las Vegas).
